RHCA NOW POSTING PICTURES ON FLICKR
Posted on January 11th, 2009Flickr is a website that specializes in user-posted pictures in much the same way that Youtube specializes in user-posted videos. The RHCA has opened an account with Flickr and posted over 200 pictures. This includes sets of pictures from Tommy Douglas Vs Ross Thatcher: The Debate of the Century; James Gardiner Vs the Ku Klux Klan: The Struggle for a Multicultural Future; Dief is the Chief . . . Again! and the Old Wives Lake Festival. The RHCA account also features collections of pictures under the titles Monuments, Murals and Museums, which features pictures of statues, monuments, local museum exhibits, historic markers and small-town museums from all over Saskatchewan. Other sets of pictures highlight historic buildings and the beautiful scenery in the Cypress Hills, Saskatchewan Landing Provincial Park, St. Victor’s Petroglyths Provincial Park and the Sky Trail Bridge over the South Saskatchewan River near Outlook. These pictures will be linked to the RHCA website to allow visitors easy access to this great collection of photographs.
